Back In The Swing Of Things

So I'm back in L.A., and ready for work.

Already, I have an appointment tomorrow for a table read. For those of you who don't know, a table read is when you sit in a room with a whole cast (all being considered for the roles they read), the director, the writer(s), and the producer(s), and the entire script is read through in one sitting while everyone reads their roles. I'm scheduled to be there for three hours. It sound daunting, but I'm looking forward to it. It's my first table read, so it's bound to be a cool experience, one way or the other.

What could come of this? Well, if the project I'm reading for gets greenlit for pre-production, then the director already has me in mind for the part that I read for. It's kind of like an audition, only better.

Other than that, I have my acting class that I'm attending every Thursday.

I shipped my tripod to myself, so once that arrives, I can start making more videos. I plan to really make a lot more now that I have a lot of free time AND a good place to film. It also helps that if I pick up the pace with my videos, I'll earn enough revenue to pay the rent, so I can save some money. I'm being very frugal lately, just learning how to balance my budget and everything.

Other than that, not much is going on. I brought my XBox 360 back with me from Baltimore, so I've been playing a lot of Oblivion recently. I'm extremely nerdy, yes. I'm a recluse, yes. But it passes the time.

That's it for this post.

Booyah.

Brandon, you make money off of your youtube videos? Through adsense or what?

Keep on trucking superstar. I wanna see little B-hardesty action figures in 5 years time.

should have taken my personal finance course at Lutheran. Balancing the budget would be a piece of cake then :) Keep up the good work, glad to get the updates. I'd like to talk with you via e-mail sometime about a small favor I have for regarding Noah. Peace.

Brandon - do you still have a copy of your Dramatic Interpretation of Pacione's "Spectral Exile"? The one with all the blood? ;)

I'd hate to think it's lost forever...

To Adam: I definitely still have that on my hard drive. If I try to put it up, however, Pacione will flag it for copyright like he did last time. Plus, I don't think any of my YouTube fans would get the inside joke, lol.

Hey Brandon, I guess I fall into that 10-12 ratio you mentioned earlier. I just wanted to say I've been following you for a while now and I couldn't be happier for you. You deserve all the fame you can get... just don't let it go to your head and wind up like some of the snotty folks in Hollywood, k? =P

Just make some video to subliminally make people click links on your site. Subliminally though so that Google doesn't get pissed at you for telling people to click your links. Just do it like they did back then with Coke. Put little frames of you clicking links every so often or make a video about how clicking links makes you cool.

It's awesome that you play Oblivion Brandon. It was one the first games I played when I got my 360, I've spent embarrassingly long hours in on that game.

Ay! You sound like a busy guy. Maybe something better than American Pie will come your way. Here's a tip now..keep down the cursing content in your videos. Use your wit to get around that, ay! What kind of camera have you been using on your videos?
