Back in LA

I'm back in sunny Los Angeles. It feels like home already.

I finished up American Pie a few days ago, and I have two more days of work on the Swardson/Sandler project, Born To Be A Star, in early June. Not much has happened yet. I did have an audition yesterday, and I got a callback for it on Monday. It's a small part, but it'd be great work. It's for a film called Easy A, and it stars Emma Stone.

In the meantime, keep your eye for a Washington Post article about me; should be coming out later this month.

More cool things to be posted as they develop.

End of the "American Pie" shoot

Tomorrow is Day 30 of 30 on the "American Pie: Book of Love" shoot. It's been a fun ride, and I've had the time of my life.

I feel like I need to concentrate more on YouTube than I have in the past. I've just been so busy with the film that I haven't had time to make a good video. I've posted two interviews with cast members on set (Bug Hall and John Patrick Jordan), but I'm not sure if people are diggin' them. I mean, they're just plain interviews. There's nothing too colorful or fun about them. Not to mention, I feel like some people come to my YouTube channel to be entertained. That's my intent with my channel: to entertain. I don't want to bore people and force them to watch behind-the-scenes interviews on a film that some of them might not want to see. I dunno, I just feel like I'm not being fair. So, I made an amazing new video which I'm going to post in a few days. I'm not gonna say much, but it's definitely one of my favorite videos I've done in a while.

Besides American Pie, I booked a small role in the film "Born To Be A Star," written by and starring Nick Swardson, and co-written by Adam Sandler and Allen Covert. I worked two days on that film in the middle of the American Pie shoot... that made for a busy weekend. I have two more days filming on "Born To Be A Star" in early June, then I'm wrapping that up. I got to meet Nick Swardson, Adam Sandler, and Allen Covert. They were all incredibly nice. Everyone was, really. The whole experience was amazing, and I can't wait to head back to LA and finish that job up. I can't say much else about the movie, other then I think it's going to do amazing in theaters when it's released.

I had another audition recently... can't say too much about it. Just hope that I get it, because if I do... hoo daddy.

What else can I say... I dunno. I feel as if it's pointless to talk about my experiences on American Pie, because the director is going to have a video podcast over the summer with a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff. I did get to meet Eugene Levy; he put in his two days a few weeks ago. That man is a gentleman, and he's really nice. Also got to meet Tim Matheson; he came in for a cameo. Also nice. Everyone's nice. Why is everyone nice? I thought this was Hollywood...

Alright, I'd better get to sleep. Long day tomorrow.
